Petition Information
MilitaryBratsRights.org requires some personal information from those participating in our petition letter campaign.

In order for our website to generate individualized letters from petitioners, the following information is required:

• First Name
• Last Name
• Email
• Address
• City
• State (or province)
• Zip Code
• Country

In addition to the above personal information, the petition requires answers to the following questions and Petition Letter Sections:

• Are you a U.S. Military Brat?
• The Issue
• Why are Military Brats rights important to you?
• What do you believe the U.S. Congress should do to provide equal rights for Military Brats?
• U.S. Citizenship status

Petition Letter
Website visitors who complete the Petition form, will be sent a copy of the Petition Letter by email, and an email of all the form information they submitted to Military Brats Rights.

Copies of all petition letters will be utilized in efforts to enact legislation through the U.S. Congress.

Contact Us Form
MilitaryBratsRights.org utilizes a Contact Us form page which emails contact information to Military Brats Rights.

The email form requires the following in order to send:

• Name
• Email Address
• Questions or comments

Typically responses to inquiries from the Contact Us form will be made by email, unless the website visitor provides additional contact information and requests to be contacted via other means.

Communication from MilitaryBratsRights.org
For subscribers to our newsletter, and authors who contribute to the website, MilitaryBratsRights.org will email important information, news and notices regarding new content on the website.

• Email Frequency. Email newsletters will not exceed 2 per month on average.
• Phone Numbers. Volunteers or website visitors who wish to volunteer may provide additional contact information such as a phone number.
• Contact Us Responses. Military Brats Rights staff will initially reply Contact Us form emails with an email, unless the website visitor provides other contact information.
• Information Sharing. All information provided through this website is never shared with any third-party, with the exception of petition letters, which may become public in the future, if presented to Congress.
• Opt-Out. Email newsletters have an automatic opt-out link, so that anyone receiving an email newsletter from MilitaryBratsRights.org can remove themselves from any future newsletter emails at any time.
• Automatic Emails. When a petitioner completes the Petition form and submits the form, two emails to be automatically created and sent to the petitioner's email address.

Writers who contribute to the website as an author, requires some personal information in order for us to review, approve and publish articles submitted by authors.

Authors are required to provide the following:

• User Name (used for login purpose)
• First Name
• Last Name
• Email (for account verification)
• Biography
